I will work with you to design an ideal experience for your group.
I do not travel to Italy on a regular schedule. Instead, I work with groups of from 4-8 to organize a trip to meet your schedule and match your priorities.
I create custom, small group experiences. Among other things, that means that you won't be traveling in a big bus with a crowd of people; you'll be riding in a van with your friends, with a private driver, and exploring Italy at your own speed.
This is an active tour. Even if you are not taking advantage of optional activities like cycling or hiking, be aware that you will be walking for at least a couple of hours every day. We will be taking a number of city walking tours and, besides, the only way to get around in most of the towns we visit is on foot. Most of our guests underestimate the strenuous nature of our trips. Comfortable walking shoes are a must.
If you choose a week in a Tuscan villa as the heart of your trip - and I hope you do! - keep in mind that you will be sharing living space with the other people in your group. The villas we choose are comfortable with completely modern facilities. Do not, however, expect the amenities of a five-star hotel.
Our focus is on culture and cuisine, fun and relaxation - not upscale shopping and checking destinations off a list.
Thinking of joining me? "For best results," we need at least 9 months lead time to secure my favorite accommodations, guides and itineraries.
Italy is a foreign country(!). Things are different there. Their bathrooms are small and their breakfasts are smaller. Coffee is espresso and Diet Coke is rare. If you require a Disneyland-style vacation somehow transplanted into this millennia-old culture, this may not be the trip for you.
